It's true:  We are still here!  I know that many of you were wondering if we were ever coming back or ever going to update the site again.  Many of you took the time to write in (email, lol), or tweet us to find out what was going on.  Many of you did not get a response, but we want you to know that your voices were heard! Yes, we were going through some "soul searching" to see if we would continue with the site as we have had to contend with various issues behind the scenes.  We've decided to stick around because you guys have demanded it!  To all that sent emails, tweets, etc., we would like to say "thank you" for your words of encouragement and concern.  We really got a chance to see how many fans of this site support it and love it.

Many of you have wondered why some videos have been taken down or deleted.  Please understand:  WE DO NOT HOST ANY OF THESE VIDEOS ON OUR SERVERS; THEY ARE EMBEDDED FROM VARIOUS WEBSITES THAT PROVIDE EMBED CODES.  In essence, we don't truly control the longevity of the video.  We might embed it today, then tomorrow the host company decides to take it down.  Also, we have been faced with notices to take down videos because they belong to various professional websites that have copyrighted these videos.  So, by law, we have to take them down even though we don't host them.

You will now notice more of a push to embed "amateur" produced videos, which may suffer in quality, content, runtime, but at least we wouldn't have to contend with many of these copyright issues.  So please understand that in order for us to stick around for a long time we have to follow these guidelines.  Because of this, we may not be able to update the site as often as we would like because of the limited "quality" amateur video pool out there.  

Anyway, once again, we are back and we thank you for your patience, loyalty, support, and love!  We hope that we will continue to be around for many years to come!  As the webmaster, I will continue to keep you updated here on our blog and on Twitter as well about site changes, updates, opinions, issues, etc.

Just thought I would add my two cents about this week's video poll question:  If A Straight Guy Likes To Get His Ass Licked By A Woman, Does That Make Him Gay Or Simply Just A Freak?  At last check, the results prove that this is truly a divisive question:  It is equally split at 50/50.  Fifty percent agree that if a straight man gets his ass licked by a female, he is gay; and fifty percent agree that he is simply just a freak.  As many of you fans of the "Straight" section at GayBlackTubeFreaks.Com know, about ninety percent of our videos depict a straight male porn star getting his ass licked.  I assume that many of us like watching these videos because we love to see these straight guys in vulnerable sexual positions, whether they are on their knees hunched over or on their backs with their legs tossed up in the air.  Also, I think that this sexual act "rimming" sort of brings them down, or up, lol, to our level--the gay level, that is!  Essentially, rimming is a staple in the repertoire of gay sex and is mostly associated with gay men.

My opinion, however, is that these guys are still straight and are simply just "freaks" who like to get their asses licked.  I think that some men, gay or straight, are turned on exponentially by feeling a tongue stroke their anus.  I, personally, don't like my ass licked but I am still a gay man.  I much prefer to do the licking lol!  Basically, I say this to say that there are a lot of gay men who don't like to be rimmed, maybe because they are not sensitive in that area or are not comfortable with someone's tongue in their ass, but they are still gay.  The same goes for straight men:  Some straight men are sensitive in that area and love their hole to be tickled by a tongue and there are some who are not turned on by it--but that still, to me, makes them straight. 

All in all, one's sexuality is not determined by a sexual act, but who they identify themselves as!  Gay men love men; straight men love women!  As long as these straight men are not loving another man, they are straight.  Sexuality is too complex of an issue to just put it in a box; nor should we let a single sex act define who we are!  Truthfully, only we ourselves can define who we are sexually and nobody else!  But, we all know we don't live in an ideal world where people don't judge other people.  No matter what I say, I'm sure you have made up your mind about straight men who get their salads tossed.  That's just the way of the world and I accept it and so should you DAMN IT, lol!

Hi GBTFreaks Family!

I am so glad that I have rejuvenated this blog so that I am able to discuss all of these site issues, etc!  Lately, I have received a couple emails about videos not working.  As many of you faithful fans of GayBlackTubeFreaks know, our videos are embedded from other tube sites and are not hosted on our site.  Because of this, we truly have no control on how long videos stay up and running.  Many times, some of these videos are taken down by the host website for whatever reason, or sometimes, the host website just shuts down their operations all together.  When they shut down their site or take down a particular video, of course the video then becomes unavailable.

A few months ago, for example, dudevu.com, a gay based tube site, shut down its operations.  Because of this, many of our videos became unavailable.  We have since replaced a lot of them by finding those same exact videos on other tube sites, but some are still down because we haven't found that particular video on another site.  Unfortunately, our site suffers when these sites go down, especially those from which we frequently embed.  Recently (and we don't know why) itsallgay.com seems to have blocked other sites from embedding its movies.  So right now, unfortunately, those videos are not working as well.

As I said before, we have been able to remedy this situation by finding these videos on other embeddable friendly sites, which simply means that the site allows embedding.  Just as there are lots of sites that allow embedding (usually by having an embed code next to it), there are lots that don't have embedding codes!  Sometimes we can find ways to embed from these sites, but sometimes we can't without an embed code.  There are still quite a few videos that fall into this category, and we continue to look for these videos on other tube sites to replace the ones that are "broken".

In addition, in the next week or so, I might go ahead and unlink all of the nonworking videos so that you wouldn't even be able to click on it, even if you see a picture there.  The reason behind this is so that it wouldn't be a waste of your time clicking on something that is not there or not working.  Once I find that particular nonworking video on another embeddable site, I will replace it and then open back up the link.

Anyway guys, I appreciate all of your emails, whether they are positive or negative (hopefully, not too much of the latter, lol!)  You are truly the eyes and ears of GayBlackTubeFreaks.com.  So, if something is not working for you on the site or there are certain technical issues with the site, you can either contact me via email or if you are on Twitter, you can send a message there!

I am always trying to think of new things to add to the site to make it a little more interesting and interactive, in my own little way, lol.  When I first launched the site, I did incorporate the idea of video poll questions with some success.  So, I have decided to bring it back!  The old polls that were on the home page have been removed as many of the videos were removed by their respective host site.  "The Video Question" will be open for a few days or so before it is closed out and removed.  You will be able to cast your vote/answer via a polling widget right below the video.  Once you cast your vote, the results will appear on the same widget.

GayBlackTubeFreaks.com ’s blog, hosted here on Thumblogger, is back up and running.  I sort of just let it go—the blog—to kind of focus on other things such as the website itself.  I decided to really get back to writing the blog as a way to communicate with you guys about every aspect of the site, to keep you abreast of updates, changes, technical issues, emails, concerns, videos, and much more!  Although we are now on Twitter , I think that the blog really allows me to go deep into a particular subject as we are all familiar with Twitter’s limitations, lol.  Now that GayBlackTubeFreaks has grown tremendously, I think that it needs its own successful blog to compliment it.  The growth of this site is largely due to all of you faithful visitors, fans, patrons and followers; you guys have showed me that there is a place for this type of website—that this website deserves to stand out in the crowded world of internet porn!  For this, I say THANK YOU!!

Now (not to get mean or anything, lol), I would like to address a few issues pertaining to a couple emails I received from some visitors to the site.  First, foremost and honestly, I created this site not only as a side business to supplement my income (evident by all of the sponsor banner ads), but to truly have a place where I could go to enjoy the porn that I like and the porn that I think others might like as well.  Someone recently emailed the site saying that, in essence, there are too many “white” videos on this site and accused the site of sort of being like other sites that use the “Black allure” to bring people in, then, in the end, sell out.  I truly disagree with this person because I feel I have included videos that represent every facet of gay Black porn, whether it is Black on Black, Latino, or interracial.  We all have our likes and dislikes.  I personally like Black on Black porn, but I know that it would be selfish of me to only include that when so many of us—Black and Whites —like to watch interracial porn as well!  Also, as a business person, I have an obligation to include everything that my viewers would like to see, as long as it fits into my business model.  We also have to remember that this site is not only for the Black viewership, it also has a large White viewership who loves watching this type of porn.  Simply, my theory is this:  If there is a Black person in the video and it is hot enough, I will include it on the site!  If you don’t like watching this type of porn, don’t click on it.  If you don’t like this site, don’t visit it; or even better, start your own!

(Wiping the sweat from my eyebrows, lol)  Now that I have finished being harsh, and please forgive me if I have offended anyone, I can move on to another issue.  I have also received emails about updates taking too long.  Guys, I can understand your frustration, especially if you are a fan of the site.  However, please understand that these videos come from other host sites and that I just don’t fling any and every video I come across onto the site; it must be of a substantial length, decent quality, embeddable, and most importantly, not one of my sponsors’ videos!  Finding videos that meet these criteria can sometimes be daunting.  Trust me; the hunt for these videos is no easy task.  And for those complaining, please feel free to submit an embeddable video to me for review and if it’s a fit for us, I will gladly include it in our galleries. 

To wrap up this sermon of mine, I just want to again say “THANK YOU!” to all the fans of GayBlackTubeFreaks.com.  Without you guys, this site would just be another forgotten pit stop on the vast superhighway known as the internet.  Many of you now turn to this site as your home for gay Black porn and I appreciate you!  Thanks to everyone who has sent words of encouragement, constructive criticism, or even a link to a video to post on the site.  I hope that you continue to support this site as we continue to grow and evolve.  Thanks, and as always, I hope you ENJOY!!!
